Facilities include a Ticket Hall, staff offices, Booking Office, Waiting Rooms, Telephone, Left Luggage, Public toilets (wheelchair friendly) and baby changing room, café next to station and car park, adjacent to the station, for 20 cars. The station is approximately half a mile from the centre of Aviemore, at the south end of the village. Taxis are available at the station - meeting most train arrivals. Connections can be made from Inverness for travel to Thurso and destinations in the North of Scotland, Inverness – Aberdeen – Edinburgh or from Aviemore – Edinburgh – Aberdeen or for destinations ‘down South’. The services provided are reliable and regular and well maintained with knowledgeable staff only too happy to assist. Bicycles may be carried on the train in the specially designated area.
