How to find usAviemore is situated in the Heart of the Scottish Highlands, in the Cairngorms National Park, Inverness-shire. By car the route from the south is via the M9 & A9, and from the east along the Moray Coastal route via the A96. The village is situated between the two A9 Aviemore junctions, beside the River Spey. By train, the village is located on the Glasgow/Edinburgh to Inverness route. The Caledonian Sleeper running between Euston/Inverness calls at Aviemore 6 days a week.
