Rafting in the Scottish Highlands

Rafting or river inflatables is an exciting way to view the rivers in the Highlands and Aviemore is ideally situated to access the many rivers and lochs in the Cairngorms National Park and surrounding area.

This is a fantastic activity for stag and hen parties, university groups, corporate team building or an exciting day out with the family.  Depending on experience and water levels the local rivers offer diverse experiences ranging from white water trips to more scenic trips and wildlife spotting – single trips to groups of up to 20 persons.

Funyaks and Inflatables

Funyaks offer a fantastic way to enjoy a fun trip on the river as a novice – get wet and love it! This is a unique, exciting and breathtaking sport. The ‘white water’ rides are a serious/fun sport ‘on the edge’, with a definite challenge, requiring acquired self-control and daring in equal measure.

Accompanied by a guide, many local providers will be coach you along the way and also offer full skills based instruction, safety measures to be followed, guided trips and multi day expeditions.
